Kirkwood Community College offers tuition assistance for eligible individuals enrolled in 4-week courses up to 4-year degree programs. Kirkwood also offers tuition and support services for in-demand career fields.
Kirkwood's Skill to Employment department can provide tuition assistance and support services for students in training programs that lead to in-demand jobs. Don’t let money discourage you from getting training. Need-based funding is available for short-term certificate programs up to two years of credit training.
Eligibility
- Must be 16 years old or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Various funding streams may have other eligibility criteria such as being income eligible, laid off, or experiencing certain barriers.
- Must have a high degree of self-discipline, determination, and a desire to succeed
