Students who complete a skilled-trade four- or five-year apprenticeship program (defined by a minimum of 8000 hours of OJL and 576 hours of RTI) approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship (OA), can automatically articulate 46 college credits toward completion of this associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree. This leaves only 18 hours of prescribed general education courses needed to earn the AAS degree.
This program is designed for those who do not have college degrees and are interested in pursuing further opportunities in supervisory and management positions.
