Provides academic support, accommodations and strategies VITAL students need to successfully complete the Kirkwood course of study. Develops an individualized education plan and accommodations plan designed to develop effective study skills and self-advocacy skills. Monitors students' progress in Kirkwood courses. Broadens students' knowledge of personal skills, talents, interests and strengths. Focuses on researching career information and individually exploring a variety of career options, with assistance from the instructor. Students develop action plans for the future.
